First Belgian finance sector seminar on interactive vocal servers.
DB Scape and Brucall held a joint event on March 10 at Brucall's Brussels office.
This joint seminar dealt with the subject of telephonic self-service
customer relations for the banking and insurance sectors, the first seminar
of its kind in Belgium.
The seminar initiated a constructive exchange concerning the impact
of new technologies (automation of vocal dialogues, voice recognition, etc.)
on self-service operations for the banking and insurance sectors' B2C and B2B
markets.
It was an opportunity for an open debate among customer service, marketing,
communications, sales, and call centre professionals to view and discuss concrete
applications for Belgium and abroad.
The possible combinations between Internet technologies, voice recognition and
text-to-speech technologies were presented. When integrated into the back-office,
these allow for an increase in the quality of customer service, as well as call centre
productivity.
The event also gave participants the opportunity to witness concrete applications
created for the banking and insurance sectors in Belgium and abroad, presided over by a
panel of experts from Brucall, DB Scape, Acapela Group, B-Voice, Infobel, and Scansoft.
