Cegetel and DB Scape organise two joint seminars for the public and finance sectors

The seminar will illustrate with practical case studies how the combination of Internet,
speech and call centre technologies, including Voice XML, Text-To-Speech synthesis and
Automatic Speech Recognition, can enable citizens to automatically access information by phone.
Applications include service directories and office locators, event agendas, tourist guides,
job openings, travel information and real-time crisis information.

The seminar will aim to initiate a constructive exchange concerning the impact
of new technologies (automation of vocal dialogues, voice recognition, etc.)
on self-service operations for the banking and insurance sectors' B2C and B2B
markets. This will be an opportunity for an open debate among customer service, marketing,
communications, sales, and call centre professionals to view and discuss concrete
applications for Belgium and abroad.
