DB Scape to attend Voice World 2005
DB Scape will be attending the Voice World show at the Olympia Conference Centre in London
on May 4th and 5th in partnership with Genesys.
Voice World 2005 is Europe's voice business event. It addresses all the strategic issues
of speech recognition, text-to-speech, voice verification, voice portals and v-commerce
in Europe.
Voice World is where enterprises, telcos and the industry come together to do business.
Voice solutions are rapidly becoming a major part of the business strategies of any forward
thinking organisation. A world-class conference featuring the most interesting issues facing
the industry and case studies from pioneering users, is combined with a trade show where the
latest products and services are showcased.
It will examine the challenges companies face when trying to develop a business case for voice,
bringing together users, service providers, distributors, and developers; as well as the
challenges companies face when integrating voice applications into existing infrastructure.
Delegates can learn from peers, talk to the experts, and do business with the industry's leading
suppliers.
By 2005, voice portal service revenues will reach $5 billion, with an additional $7 billion in
incremental revenue being generated by service providers.
A study conducted in 2002 by The Kelsey Group revealed that, on average, companies are saving
$1.02 million annually from their automated speech recognition (ASR) deployments.
In other words, speech technologies continue to offer significant opportunities to world
class solution providers when almost all other enterprise technology investment has been
suspended.
