Since they are serving the public, transportation companies usually operate a call center that answers typical questions like :
  • Lost and found : "I forgot my bag on the subway this morning.".
  • Delay information : "I am at the bus stop waiting for bus 45, but nothing is coming...".
  • Time table : "I am in Cambridge and would like to go to London next Tuesday. What trains are available ?".

  • Delay Information : Callers can speak the number of their bus line and their location. The voice portal will automatically retrieve the required information from the database. The database will be updated by authorized personnel.
  • Time table : Callers will simply talk to the VocaBase® server who can understand their query in terms of origin, destination and time. VocaBase® will then propose different options of routes and prices to the caller.
